Often referred to as “The Best Golf Course in Northern Vietnam,” Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club is a true championship venue that combines natural beauty, strategic design, and world-class facilities. Nestled in a lush valley halfway between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, this spectacular 27-hole course (soon expanding to 36) is set among rolling hills, crystal-clear lakes, and tree-lined fairways that perfectly frame every shot.

Day 4: Hanoi Full-Day City Tour

Hanoi City Sightseeing Tour – A Journey Through History and Culture

Discover the timeless charm of Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant capital, on a full-day tour that weaves together centuries of culture, architecture, and local life.

Your morning begins with a visit to the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius. Within its peaceful courtyards and traditional gateways, you’ll find some of the finest examples of classical Vietnamese architecture — a tranquil haven in the heart of the city.

Continue on to the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, a site of deep national significance. Here you’ll see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his simple stilt house, and the graceful One Pillar Pagoda, originally built in 1049 and later rebuilt after wartime destruction. Rising from a lotus pond, the pagoda remains one of Hanoi’s most recognizable symbols.

Next, take in the serene beauty of Tran Quoc Pagoda, the city’s oldest Buddhist temple. Located on a small island in West Lake, this 6th-century pagoda has long been a spiritual retreat for monks and visitors alike.

In the afternoon, step back into the city’s more turbulent past with a visit to Hoa Lo Prison, known to many as the “Hanoi Hilton.” Originally built by the French to hold Vietnamese political prisoners, it later housed captured American pilots during the Vietnam War. Today, it stands as a thought-provoking museum and a testament to resilience.

Afterwards, explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter, a maze of narrow lanes and lively market streets that date back over a thousand years. Each of the famed “36 Streets” once specialized in a different trade — from silk and silver to herbal medicine — and the area still buzzes with traditional crafts and street vendors. Pause at a local café to enjoy a cup of rich Vietnamese coffee while watching the rhythm of daily life unfold.

Your tour concludes at the picturesque Ngoc Son Temple (Temple of the Jade Mountain), set on a small island in Hoan Kiem Lake. Cross the iconic red wooden bridge to this peaceful sanctuary — a fitting finale to a day immersed in Hanoi’s fascinating blend of history, spirituality, and culture.

Day 5: Golf / Long Bien Golf Course

Located just 10 minutes from the heart of Hanoi, Long Bien Golf Course is a premier 27-hole championship venue and one of Vietnam’s most accessible and impressive golfing experiences. Designed by Nelson & Haworth, the course combines world-class design with impeccable conditioning, offering a layout that challenges professionals yet remains enjoyable for leisure golfers.

Set across gently rolling terrain, Long Bien features wide, manicured fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and sparkling lakes that come into play on several holes. Each of the three nine-hole loops — A, B, and C — offers a distinctive character, blending natural contours with thoughtful design to test both accuracy and creativity. At night, the entire course is beautifully illuminated, making it one of Asia’s finest fully floodlit golf courses — perfect for an unforgettable evening round.

The impressive three-storey clubhouse offers panoramic views of the course, international dining, and first-class facilities including locker rooms, pro shop, and VIP lounges.

With its convenient location, outstanding facilities, and consistently high standards, Long Bien Golf Course stands out as a must-play destination for golfers visiting Hanoi — a perfect combination of city sophistication and resort-style relaxation

Day 6: Free Day

Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Hanoi, Vietnam’s captivating capital — a city where timeless tradition meets modern vibrancy.

Wander through the Old Quarter, a bustling maze of narrow streets where ancient shopfronts, colorful markets, and the aroma of Vietnamese coffee fill the air. Each of the famous “36 Streets” once specialized in a different trade — from silk and silver to spices and herbal remedies — and today they still buzz with life and character.

Take a stroll around the tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake, where locals gather for morning tai chi, or visit the nearby Ngoc Son Temple, a charming shrine reached by a bright red wooden bridge. For those interested in culture, Hanoi offers a wealth of museums and galleries, including the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, the Fine Arts Museum, and the Women’s Museum.

If you prefer a slower pace, unwind in one of the city’s elegant cafés, sample authentic pho or bun cha, or indulge in a traditional Vietnamese spa treatment.

In the evening, enjoy a water puppet show, a uniquely Vietnamese art form dating back to the 11th century, or simply relax with a rooftop drink overlooking the glittering skyline.

Whatever you choose, a free day in Hanoi offers endless possibilities — a perfect blend of culture, cuisine, and charm in one of Asia’s most fascinating cities.

Day 7: Golf / BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort

Nestled in the scenic foothills of Soc Son, just 30 minutes from Hanoi, BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort is a truly unique golfing experience that beautifully combines natural beauty with innovative design. Opened in 2015, the course was the first Jack Nicklaus–designed layout in Vietnam and remains one of the most distinctive in the region.

Set against a backdrop of lush mountains and peaceful countryside, Legend Hill is built around the concept of “twin greens” — each hole features two separate greens, allowing the course to be set up in a variety of ways and offering a fresh challenge every time you play. The design showcases wide, rolling fairways, strategically positioned bunkers, and undulating greens, rewarding both power and precision.

The course layout flows gracefully through valleys and lakes, framed by the natural contours of the landscape. Mature trees and water features add to its serene character, while the meticulous course conditioning ensures a top-class playing experience year-round.

The elegant clubhouse overlooks the course and provides full resort facilities, including fine dining, practice areas, and VIP lounges.

With its innovative twin-green concept, stunning mountain scenery, and Nicklaus pedigree, BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort offers a memorable and world-class round — a true Hanoi golfing gem where every hole tells its own story.

Day 8: Departure
